We have been walking Baxter the dog. He likes walks but isn’t the best trained pooch so taking the stroller is a challenge however Bella loves her ergo baby carrier so all is well. Unless it’s raining of course which it seems to be doing a lot lately here! Strange I know. 

Izzy

 Isadora has been very cat like and ignoring the baby till now. She has been inching closer and sniffing. Her she and Arabella have there 1st meeting. Of course izzy thinks she can nibble at Bella so fingers and toes so I have to keep a close eye on her. (She does this to everyone for attention) Hopefully soon I will feel it’s safe enough for them to be in the same room while sleeping… till then silly pictures it is!

And it’s a supervised zoo in here…. where am I  supposed to lay critters

Little Claire wanted to see Bella so much so we spent the day with them. Blake was super excited too and kept saying how squishy she is 😄 
Arabella loved staring and watching the hustle and bustle through out there day. She likes pulling blakes glasses and Claire’s hair and they had a great time together. Pretty sure aunt Kelly and grandma Judy loved it too!

Claire even helped with a diaper change 

Then they all played ghost busters and Bella was slimer lol … no ghosts or humans harmed in the games 😄

The deckelmans had a great time as a family entertaining themselves and Bella …  It was so cute and now I think Blake wants another little sister 😍

Today Bella isn’t feeling well after her shots yesterday and the pediatrician told us to go ahead and start her on solids because she’s so tiny …. so here was the results 
Earth’s best organic cereal we choose mixed with breast milk. 1 tspn cereal 3 tspn bm.

She just wanted to naw on the spoon 

Then got fussy so we changed locations and she made herself a little mess! She kept grabbing the spoon to naw on it and ended up with most of it on her bid and hands

I think it was a success 😄 

Arabellas 1st solids video 

Today was the dreaded shots day. Arabella took them like a champion and only cried for the initial prick then just wanted her mommy to cuddle. Dr Happy said she is in the 10 percentile  for her age and only gained 1 pound and 1″. Not concerned thankfully and said we have a petite cutie 😀. she does want us to start her on solids so she will start gaining weight, so we will start those soon … 1st adventure will be organic cereal from earth’s best.. then mommy will be making baby food next week but we did get a few veggies just in case! That will definitely be a crazy post I’m sure.

Coming in at 11.5 pounds at 4 months old and 24″ long…

Arabella loves her skip hop activity gym she got from Grandma Patti for Christmas 😍 look at that drool princess go!

Oh and mommy loved that it matches both her room and mine 😄

The Grand Canyon and the Phoenix Suns Arena were different but great fun. Something to treasure for the little one when she is older. Her 1st snow, natural wonders, and center court at an NBA stadium all in 1 week at 4 months old! Lucky us 😀 

8 states, grand canyon, snow, desert, historic sites, half court at the Suns Arena and more! Baby girl has become a great traveler at just 4 months old. We completed our road trip today which was a long but fun week. Bittersweet to be home but tired from travels and ready to settle back into the daily grind.

Next on our trip was Dallas where we stayed high in the Hyatt. We arrived in enough time to stroll around the historic sites, including the JFK assassination site. Then we had a lovely dinner at yo steakhouse were we enjoyed venison rolls and bison filet mignon. Only thing we didn’t enjoy was all the people rubbing Arabellas hair lol.

A lovely stay in baton rouge on our road trip back to California at the watermark hotel. Which just so happens to be the oldest bank in Louisiana converted into a boutique hotel. Views are amazing and hotel is beautiful Arabella enjoyed her stay And woke up for the sunrise, now mommy & daddy are tired but time to press on to Dallas!

Today was Arabellas first trip to the beach! Daddy wanted to bring her into the ocean for a quick dip,but mommy said no way! Overall the trip was a great success. The sun was shining, the weather was perfect, & most important we got some fantastic pictures of our little beach buckita.

And she was spent … till next time
