9 months old!

I cant believe little arabella has been here making us laugh for as long as she was in her swamp! (That’s what we called her belly home lol) She has made so many developmental changes and she is developing quite a bossy personality. From just laying there looking adorable to now always on the move she is a wonderful little girl who melts our hearts everyday.

She is tiny though! Weighing in at 14pounds 14ounces & 27.5″ long at her 9 month checkup, but she packs a mighty punch ๐Ÿ˜„

The pediatrician had us go have her blood taken to test for anemia and she just sat there and looked at the lady like a big girl with no fear. She didn’t even cry, she’s such a good girl

Then she had a nap & play time .. She loves to crawl, stand up, and play with her toys. Her favorite movie is angry birds maybe that’s how she has perfected the scowl so fast!

Delayed Post from too much FL Fun

So we just got back from our 5 week Florida visit and we miss everyone so much already. It’s strange being gone for that long and returning to the normal routine, but it doesn’t feel normal anymore. It will take a few days to adjust but we are so happy we were able to spend the time in FL with family. While we were in FL Arabella perfecting her sitting up, starting army crawling, waving, and so much more. So glad that Grandma Patti was able to see and experience those milestones with us.

More Pictures Coming Soon!!

Our little peanut 6 months oldย

Arabella’s 6 month checkup went well. She is such a small little the Dr told the Dr in training something like ‘yes this patient is the size of some 2 month old babies I see’ after they walked in and i sais her ia out little peanut ๐Ÿ˜„

Is is now a whooping 13.4 pounds. 2 pounds I was hoping for and woo hop we did it! Now per the visit to start her on more solids! Including chicken!

Then she had some shots and we went on our way. Buckita not in the best of moods but ready for the day.

Daybed togetherย

We received the daybed for the nursery so mommy could start baby girls transition to her room. It was an eventful process to say the least. 1st the daybed  arrived a week late, then we put the back together wrong so we had to start over, then mommy got a splinter which really hurts. All while the little one was helping and watching!

It’s better explained in pictures ๐Ÿคฃ

And now for her to sleep in her crib…. mommy is a bit sad but hopefully she transitions well.

Update: night one, mommy and baby both didn’t sleep well. Hopefully night two will be better. Now for loads of coffee ๐Ÿ˜‰

How do you keep socks on a baby??

This little one thinks her socks are toys! She loves to play with them, pull them, and gum shark them. I swear I wash all of her socks every couple days because she slobbers them up. Today I decided to photo her in action ….

And then she had no socks… probably about 2 minutes work to play with her socks for me to take them away. So she went for her fingers then her toes.

I think we need more socks. We like the ecoland ones because they fit well and are organic. I see an amazon purchase in my near future.

But really will she ever keep her socks on!?!
